Hyperopia is an eye condition that occurs when the light entering the pupil does not bend or refract correctly and falls short coming to a single focus on the retina (back of the eye) resulting in blurred vision. People with Hyperopia can see objects far away clearly but objects close can appear blurry or distorted.
Uncorrected Hyperopia can lead to eye strain, eye fatigue and headaches. Regular eye health checkups will uncover this eye condition.
Treatment options most often are eyeglasses and contact lenses however Lasik is also an option.
