Meet Dr. Sergiu Picioreanu
Dr. Picioreanu’s enthusiasm for enhancing vision and ocular comfort is widely felt by all of his patients. He strongly believes that being in touch with the latest in research and technology is necessary to provide the best possible care to all patients.
While passionate about everything related to optometry, from myopia control to managing dry eye disease, Dr. Picioreanu takes particular satisfaction in providing innovative solutions for people with challenging corneal conditions.
He completed optometry school at the University of Waterloo and did his residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry. In 2018, pursuing his passion for research and continuing education, he also completed his Fellowship at the American Academy of Optometry. Since returning to Canada, Dr. Picioreanu received his certification with EyePrint, becoming the first practitioner in British Columbia to be able to share this cutting-edge technology with his patients.
When he is not at the clinic, Dr. Picioreanu enjoys perusing used bookstores, discovering new restaurants, playing beach volleyball in the summer, and trying his hand at drumming and guitar.
